I don’t know about you, but I don’t wash my hair everyday. I wash it about every 3 days. It’s much healthier for your hair not to wash everyday. Washing daily strips away natural oils and dries your hair out.
I love wavy hair but to get a nice wavy look without washing can be a challenge especially if you pull your hair up to workout everyday. I finally came up with a solution. Check out my regimen below.
Day 1 :: Wash and condition hair with a defrizz product such as John Freida Frizz-Ease Shampoo and Conditioner. Towel dry and add in Garnier Fructis Leave-In Conditioner all over hair except at the roots. Add in Biosilk Silk Therapy on the ends only. Last, you’ll want to add a curl cream. I use Garnier Fructis Curl Sculpting Cream all over the hair. To disperse these products, use a wide tooth comb to distribute; flip hair over, scrunch and you’re done.
Day 2 :: If you have to put your hair up to workout, shower, etc., use a large clip to bunch your hair up so that it doesn’t pull the curl out too badly. Once you’re out of the shower, simply spray all over with a water bottle and scrunch. Continue to spray and scrunch until you get the desired wave you’re looking for. I have thick hair so I end up with a “big hair” look but I like that sort of thing.
Day 3 :: Either put up partially, completely in a bun or follow day 2 above for the wavy look.
