DIY :: Starfish Christmas Tree Topper

Want to bring a beach theme to your Christmas tree this year or have an old tree topper you need to replace? Maybe both? I had both of these issues. Actually, after pulling the angel tree topper from the Christmas storage supplies this year, it was down right pathetic. That poor angel just looked rachet. Since the beach is my favorite place in the world and we live near the ocean, it was very fitting to have a star made out of starfish for our new Christmas tree topper. It’s simple and easy to make.  See the steps below.

Supplies: Two white starfish from your local souvenir shop, hot glue or super glue, and yarn.

1) Simply arrange the starfish in the design you’d like putting the yarn between the two.
2) Glue them together securely and let dry.
3) Once it is dry, tie onto the top of your Christmas tree.
